In October 2023, the CVM published Resolution 193, which provides for the preparation and disclosure of the financial information report related to sustainability, based on the international standard issued by the International Sustainability Standards Board - ISSB.

Brazil is one of the first countries to adopt the ISSB’s sustainability-related financial reporting system. With this excellent new resolution, the CVM aims to fulfill its role of strengthening transparency and endorsing international sustainability standards in Brazilian regulations, which it has already been closely monitoring.
